I was born in Peru, Indiana and moved to Estill Springs, Tennessee as a small child, where I lived until I was 18. I spent my freshman year of college at Middle Tennessee State University and from there, I transferred to East Tennessee State University where I later majored in Nursing. I graduated cum laude from ETSU in May 2011 with my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. I have been working as a Registered Nurse in Bristol, Tennessee for almost two years.

In my spare time I enjoy writing, reading, and cooking. I love watching movies from any genre and am an avid movie buff. Some of my favorite films include A Love Song for Bobby Long, The Patriot, Inception, Pride and Prejudice, and The Notebook. I'll pretty much read any type of book and am currently reading The Hobbit. I live in Johnson City, Tennessee with my dog, Elle.
